The Duhks is a band from Winnipeg, Canada.
The five members play a blend of Canadian soul, gospel, North American folk, Brazilian samba, old time country string band, zydeco, and Irish dance music. Four of them hail from Winnipeg, Manitoba and the fifth member (Tania Elizabeth) is from Victoria, British Columbia. Their music draws heavily on all of the North American musical traditions, while successfully integrating Latin-music-influenced percussion. Their first album, Your Daughters & Your Sons was nominated for a Juno award. Their eponymous second album won a Juno for Best Roots & Traditional Album by a Group, and “Heaven’s My Home,” from their third album, was nominated for the 2007 Grammy award for Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

OUR LADY PEACE – DISCOGRAPHY

Our Lady Peace, often abbreviated OLP, is a Canadian alternative rock band consisting of Raine Maida (vocals, guitar), Duncan Coutts (bass), Jeremy Taggart (drums), and Steve Mazur (guitar). Until 2001, guitarist and founding member Mike Turner was a member of the band. During their career they have sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards out of twenty nominations, and won ten MuchMusic Video Awards, including the People’s Choice Award in 1997, 1998 and 2000. They have the most awards won by any artist or group at the MMVA’s. The band has finished its ‘Paranoid Times Tour’, which saw them stopping in several North American cities between April and May of 2006. With them was a fifth stage member, Joel Shearer (of the band Pedestrian).

The Birthday Massacre
Looking Glass EP

The Birthday Massacre’s third album, Walking With Strangers, further cemented their place in the hearts of fans everywhere, while gaining them countless new ones worldwide. Now preparing to embark on a North American tour with Mindless Self Indulgence, the band presents the Looking Glass EP. As the second single off of the album, “Looking Glass” is ablaze with driving guitar hooks, intricate keyboard melodies, and Chibi’s sinful vocals. In addition to the title track, the EP contains mixes of fan favorites “Red Stars,” “Falling Down,” and “Weekend,” as well as two new tracks, a cover of the classic song “I Think We’re Alone Now” and the video for “Looking Glass.” Never a band to fall short of expectations, The Birthday Massacre have once again surpassed the expected, and created an EP that outshines most albums.

Release Notes:

“Feel The Steel” is the second album by American glam metal band Steel Panther
(formerly known as Danger Kitty, Metal Shop and Metal Skool) and their debut
major label release.

The tracks “Fat Girl”, “Stripper Girl” and “Hell’s On Fire” are re-recordings
from the 2003 debut album “Hole Patrol” whilst Death To All But Metal is a
re-recording from their 2004 contribution to the Metal Sludge compilation “Hey
That’s What I Call Sludge! Vol. 1″. Unlike the debut album and their Metal
Sludge compilation tracks, “Feel The Steel” is entirely comprised of music,
lacking any spoken word comedy skits that the band became renowned for on the
earlier releases.

The CD is scheduled to be released in North America on November 3 2009.
